In the past two years, we have learned how important healthy living practices can be. In uncertain times, we often look to the past for reassurance. Ayurveda is an ancient holistic health system that has experienced wide popularity in the past couple of decades. That is because it works! This class will be a basic introduction to Ayurveda and its health principles. We will discuss the connection between nature and our own, unique nature. We will also explore how to recognize imbalances and correct them at an early stage, in order to achieve and maintain optimal health. All are warmly welcome!

About the Instructor:
Jean Wetzel holds a PhD in Asian Art History and is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, who graduated from the California College of Ayurveda in 2007. She has taught and lectured widely on topics of Yoga, Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology. She consulted with clients from 2007-2017 in her clinical practice, Monarch Grove Ayurveda. She continues to see clients in her Vedic Astrology practice.
